Each physical therapist at Painless Pregnancy is highly skilled and trained in obstetric care. That means that if there is a technique or approach that has been discovered to be effective in helping pregnant or postpartum women be pain-free or move well, then they know about it.
Our therapists are AMAZING. They will not rush you through your stories. They will not roll their eyes at your concerns. They will NOT minimize what you are going through or compare you to other moms. Our therapists care deeply about moms. And it shows.
Hello, I'm Chanol, and it brings me immense joy to be part of the dedicated team of Pelvic Health Physical Therapists here at Painless Pregnancy.
My journey towards becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy commenced at McMaster University in Canada, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology in 2004. My fascination with the intricacies of the human body and the art of movement propelled me to pursue a Master of Science in Physiotherapy degree from Leeds Beckett University in the U.K., which I proudly achieved in 2009.
After five years of dedicated practice, primarily in the field of orthopedic Physical Therapy, I encountered numerous women who, sadly, had resigned themselves to a life of pain and shame due to pelvic floor dysfunction. Witnessing this inspired a transformation in my career. I embarked on a journey to acquire advanced knowledge and skills by enrolling in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Alongside, I completed specialist courses in Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation through Herman and Wallace.
I find fulfillment in addressing a wide spectrum of pelvic floor conditions, but I hold a particular soft spot for mothers experiencing acute pain. As a mother myself, raising two spirited and loving boys, I can deeply empathize with the unique challenges that women face during pregnancy and postpartum. I firmly believe that every pregnancy journey is distinct and I am here to provide you with the individualized care and support you deserve. Together, we can create a pregnancy experience that is not only painless but also filled with comfort and joy. Your well-being is my priority, and I can't wait to help you achieve it.
Hi! I’m Dr. Samira, one of the many wonderful Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists part of the Painless Pregnancy team. I am originally from Los Angeles, California but have come to call Jupiter, FL home. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science from UC Irvine and went on to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami.
While in graduate school, I learned about the pelvic floor specialty and was immediately fascinated by how integral this region of the body was to our overall function, and how little it was talked about in daily life! I took elective courses, sought out additional lectures and conferences, and even took additional continuing education courses to learn more about pelvic floor conditions and how to treat them. Since graduating, I have taken additional coursework to continue to deepen my knowledge about pelvic floor conditions to offer my patients the best chance at healing.
In addition to treating pelvic floor conditions, I also have experience working with orthopedic, sports, pediatric, and neurologic conditions and am very passionate about offering holistic, trauma-informed care for my patients. While I find great joy in helping everyone with pelvic floor dysfunction, I am particularly passionate about helping those with pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction. My goal is to empower you to understand your body and help you meet any health goals you have.
