About the job
Performing about 25 in-home evaluations and treatment visits per week (about 5 per day). You set and adjust each plan of care on your own, and hands-on manual treatment is part of every one.
At each evaluation, explaining the patient's problem in clear, simple terms and how therapy will help, recommending the plan of care, then handing off to our front office for membership enrollment.
Letting the front office know promptly about any cancellation a patient sends you directly, and any change in visit frequency agreed during a session. The front office manages the schedule.
Driving between scheduled patients within your zone, including visits outside your primary zone when needed.
Completing visit documentation in our mobile app within 48 hours of each visit.
Asking satisfied patients for referrals, dropping off brochures at local offices and preparing content for presentations.
Taking part in regular performance reviews and coaching, and using our practice's messaging and approach with patients.
Painless Pregnancy provides cash-pay pelvic floor physical therapy in patients' homes. Our primary patient population is pregnant and postpartum women. In this role you carry your own caseload primarily within an assigned South Florida zone, though visits outside it are a normal part of the job when scheduling requires it, seeing patients for one-hour, one-on-one visits. Our front office supplies the leads and manages scheduling, membership enrollment and patient follow-up. Your job is to give clear, confident, hands-on care that helps patients commit to and stay in their plan of care. You report to our Founder and CEO and work closely with our operations and front-office team.

You work alone in patients' homes and in your car for most of the week. We don't train the following traits, so they need to be part of how you already practice:
You respond to what the patient is feeling and dealing with, not only their symptoms.
Active Florida physical therapist license
Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle that fits a treatment table and cart
Able to transport a treatment table (up to 40 lbs) and cart several times a day: loading it in and out of your vehicle and carrying it into patients' homes, with or without reasonable accommodation
Your own professional liability insurance
Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by your start date
Patients genuinely like working with you. That matters because they pay out of pocket for every visit.
You make sound clinical decisions independently during the visit, adjusting treatment in the moment based on what you find.
You help patients see that their plan of care goes beyond the immediate relief they may feel, and you convey the value of preventive, ongoing care.
You get patients committed to their plan: you explain the problem simply and how therapy will improve it.
We also need someone who:
Is calm, clear and respectful in a patient's home
Is accountable for clear, timely communication with our front office: reports cancellations and frequency changes promptly so the schedule stays accurate
Stays flexible and professional with patients who have firm preferences
Communicates proactively with their manager when caseload volume, conversion or documentation fall behind expectations
Role Constraints & Realities
- Most of your day is spent driving and working alone. Drives between patients are scheduled at about 25 to 30 minutes, and South Florida traffic is part of the day.
- You work 40 hours a week. Your schedule is typically 9:00 to 5:00, though start and end times may shift slightly day to day (for example 8:00 to 4:00 or 10:00 to 6:00) based on patient scheduling needs.
- Volume is steady at about 25 visits per week (about 5 per day). It is not expected to grow.
- You load and unload the treatment table on every visit.
- You pay for parking up front, charge it to the patient through our app, and are reimbursed in your paycheck.
- We provide the treatment table, cart, pregnancy wedge and all session supplies.
- Documentation is your responsibility, completed in our easy-to-use phone app. Documentation is never done during a visit: the full hour belongs to the patient.
- This is a long-term caseload role primarily in one zone, with the understanding that your schedule may include visits outside it. It is not structured as a path to management.
- $55–70/hour based on experience, as a W-2 hourly employee . Drive time between patients is paid. New grads and experienced PTs are welcome to apply.
- Full-time
- 10 days of paid time off and 6 paid holidays
- Continuing-education allowance of $250–500 per year, depending on tenure
- Comprehensive onboarding on the Painless Pregnancy method, plus quarterly in-person team meetings and training
- Not offered: health insurance, company vehicle, mileage or gas reimbursement
