These are the amazing women behind the scenes of Painless Pregnancy. They allow our Physical Therapists go house to house serving South Florida. When you call, they answer.
Marna Currie
Hello! My name is Marna Currie. I am honoured to be part of the Painless Pregnancy tribe helping to onboard new and deserving moms and moms-to-be. I love and share the determination this unique tribe of PTs have to help women where it’s most needed.
My passion to help women during their maternity journey comes from 13 years as a Certified Maternity Reflexologist and Accredited Advanced EFT Practitioner specializing in birth and postpartum emotional well-being.
I am originally from Scotland, live in LA and passionate that women get the care they truly deserve. I was shocked at the lack of support new mothers receive under this current healthcare system and love to show women that they don’t need to suffer in pain, physically or emotionally. I am also a Yogalates Teacher and Sound therapist and enthused about helping you reach your optimal health so you can truly enjoy motherhood to its best. I am also about to endeavor in a health coach qualification specializing in root cause analysis. I look forward to chatting to you and getting you the right PT for your unique needs!
Hi, I’m Tamara Vead, a physical therapist at Painless Pregnancy and a North Carolina native who still calls the beautiful state home. I earned my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC Chapel Hill in 2012, then went on to complete my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at East Carolina University in 2015. I have practiced in both out-patient and hospital settings focusing on orthopedics and women's health over the past 9 years.
My journey into women’s health began in the hospital setting, where I witnessed the struggles so many women face with pelvic floor dysfunction. I began to pursue education on pelvic health, complex pelvic pain, and pregnancy/postpartum. My passion for this field grew even stronger through my own experiences with pregnancy dealing with pain and the challenges of diminished abilities.
After two complex deliveries, I was determined to educate other women so they could feel empowered and have different experiences than my own. I was also dead set on returning to the activities that brought me joy and identity: running, weight lifting, and hiking, as well as to fully support and be present with my family without reservations of pain.
Today, as a mother of two beautiful young girls, I am grateful for the opportunity to help other women overcome similar challenges. Through my work at Painless Pregnancy, I’m here to help you unlock your potential, restore comfort, and bring joy back into your journey.
Tiffany has been a RN for seventeen years, with experience in multiple disciplines including obstetrics. She fulfills the role of patient care coordinator for Painless Pregnancy. She enjoys assisting patients with the intake process to get the individual and specialized care that Painless Pregnancy offers. She spends her free time with her husband, daughter and 3 dogs. She enjoys hiking, hobby photography and has completed several marathons.
I'm Asia, and I bring a dynamic blend of creativity and purpose to the Painless Pregnancy team. Hailing from the vibrant and beautiful Kingston, Jamaica, I further honed my skills in communications and outreach at Salve Regina University in scenic Newport, Rhode Island, where I embraced the university's commitment to social justice and impact.
My motivation to join Painless Pregnancy is deeply rooted in my desire to align my professional talents with meaningful work. I was drawn to the opportunity to take my storytelling and marketing expertise and use it for a profound good. For me, working with Painless Pregnancy isn't just a job; it's a chance to contribute to something that truly matters: providing specialized healthcare for women who genuinely need it, ensuring they receive the support and empowerment they deserve during pivotal life stages.
When I'm not amplifying Painless Pregnancy's mission, I love to discover hidden gems in Miami's diverse culinary scene and can often be found by the ocean, drawing inspiration from the calming waves, a nod to my island roots.
My name is Cassie and I’m originally from Massachusetts, but life with my military family has brought me to San Antonio, Texas (and 7 other states!). I have a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University and a background in psychology and neuroscience from Assumption College, where I was proud to serve as valedictorian of my class.
My passion lies in supporting moms through the incredible—and often overwhelming—journey of pregnancy and postpartum. After becoming a mom myself, now to two wild and wonderful boys, and navigating my own pelvic floor challenges and birth story, I felt a deep calling to help other women heal, feel strong, and reconnect with their bodies.
As moms, we pour so much into everyone else—but taking care of ourselves and our bodies is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. That’s when I decided it was time to join the mission at Painless Pregnancy and I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful team. Whether I’m chasing my boys or running marathons (yes, even the cold, rainy Boston Marathon in 2018!), I bring heart, determination, and a deep respect for the strength of women. I am honored to walk alongside moms as they step into healing and wholeness.
Hi, I’m Mia—a nutritionist-in-training with a passion for healing and a strong commitment to women’s health. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia State University and am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Nutrition. At Painless Pregnancy, I work as the Scheduling Coordinator, where I enjoy making things fit together like puzzle pieces, ensuring that both patients and physical therapists have a seamless experience. I take pride in supporting the behind-the-scenes efforts that help maintain continuity and make every visit meaningful.
I feel particularly passionate about serving the community that Painless Pregnancy supports due to the rising rates of pregnancy-related mortality and the disparities many women encounter. This team fuels my desire to be part of the solution. My work focuses on creating realistic, nutritious, and delicious meals that promote hormone balance and overall wellness. I was drawn to nutrition through my journey of managing Hidradenitis Suppurativa, a chronic inflammatory skin condition. That experience inspired me to explore how food can be used as medicine, not just for myself, but for other women facing complex health challenges.
Whether I’m developing recipes, coordinating care, or supporting clients, my goal is to help women feel nourished, empowered, and genuinely seen.
Are you ready?
We want to talk with you prior to scheduling your first visit because what we do is different. Physical therapy can be tricky, let’s chat briefly to be certain that we are exactly what you need. And if we aren’t, we will be happy to point you in the right direction.
“Dr. Kat was absolutely wonderful helping me address my postpartum pelvic floor health issues. Her recommendations helped me see and feel results within a few days and I have no doubt things will continue to get better.”
